Well, ‘Ingoma Backstage Pass’ has been a fantastic show in the
showbiz industry as they, through their presenters, brings to you an in depth look and a
close-up view through its so-called ‘backstage pass’, on the best artists and celebrities
in the entertainment industry in its beginner’s year after its formation
-2017.
To those who still have no idea what this is, as said in my
previous post which was primarily focused on this show -this is basically an
online show that is regularly shown on the Zimpapers Television Network (ZTN) website,
at least for now, that walks you through a backstage view of various concerts
performed by various and different musicians and also allows its viewers to
catch a glimpse look into the lives of some of their favorite performing artists. Important to note is that, not
only does it focus on Zimbabwean celebrities and artists from Zimbabwe but have
managed to sit down with some of the best from S.A and Jamaica, so I can safely say this is
basically a locally produced global show.
Picture it as a tour around concerts as it looks much like it,
definitely they are on a mission.
It gives you a closer look on some of your best artists and
celebrities, within its reach. Having so far sat down and interviewed Beenie
Man, Casper Nyovest and Brian Nhira. Well, their reach as you can see is
unreachable to some of their local competitors setting up the pace.
Certainly the show promises nothing but fireworks in 2018,
where ZTN as large as it is, is looking on stepping up their programs that they
have been showing on its website: www.ztn.co.zw
Programs like the ‘Kucheza Playlist’ which is a video chart
show, both local and international visuals for hit songs and ‘My life in 5’ are
set to be in full swing this year as they are in cooks at the moment.

On another
issue completely unrelated to Ingoma but has been trending in the entertainment front, is the issue of
submitting music as an artist or producer to our radio stations at the moment
which has a direct effect on artists. Unlike Star FM which has remained
consistent towards the issue of submitting music in which they prefer submitting
music through hardcopy discs and in person – Power FM on the other hand now has opened
the door to artists to submit their music through online means, that is through
email. You can now submit your work through email at: powerfm.music@zbc.co.zw.
All tracks
and songs must be in MP3 format and do not forget to include your profile (Artist
Profile).
