AKILIZ VIDEO ITS ABOUT TIME FOR RELEASE!

November 02, 2017Panashe Gomendo

ON-FIRE Afropop sensation Ammara Brown has explained the delay of the sultry Akiliz video saying it is down in South Africa for post editing.

HOLD ON!
The video for Akiliz was directed by award winning director Vusa Blaqs.
Seeing how Akiliz had wrecked the airwaves, Blaqs teased fans that he would release the video leaving fans drooling for it.
“Akiliz Akiliz Video Why You Killing Us whooah with your delay,” was some of the cries Ammartians had.
But Ammara Brown due to reasons beknown to herself and her management decided to export the video to South Africa for what she called post edit.
“We had to send the video for post-editing in South Africa because we felt Blaqs couldn’t do both because he isn’t the sort of person who does everything from directing and then editing,” she explained.

Akiliz is one of the songs to be found on her forthcoming debut album Ammartia to be released on November 10 at The Venue in Avondale, Harare. Other songs making up the 14 track album include Glow in the dark the only Acapella fancied by her manager Tsungi Zvobgo and some remakes that she did a while back. The adage that perfection takes time seems to be entrenched in Andy Brown’s daughter who took half a decade coming up with this album. But it remains the fans’ verdict to see if the album is as emmaculate as she claims.
“This album has been in the making for 5 years and is finally ready. My songs are true organic stories and most of the songs on the album are more of personal experiences,
“The album is a 14 track album; I deliver quality and people should expect that from the album,” she added. The quality-conscious Ammartian loses sleep over half baked products.
“I believe in quality and not quantity, I can only release songs or videos when I am satisfied, I cannot release anything when I can’t sleep and am not happy about it.
“Those who have been acquainted with my music know the quality of music I deliver and it will quench their thirst for the video,” she said.
The songs on the album were produced by a variety of producers like the nifty DJ Tamuka, Chiweda  and producer-cum-singer Roki to mention but a few. Choreography on the videos was done with the expertise of nimble footed John Cole.
